With RMerlin Firmware, ASUSWRT-Merlin support Full Cone NAT and is ideal at supporting multiple Xbox’s / PS etc in OPEN NAT /Nat Type 1

With ASUS stock Firmware, their NAT is of the Symmetric NAT type, which has its challenges, but from when I used it last, as long as you enable UPnP then this has worked well in the past for multiple Xbox’s (for myself)

Key I think is not to assign devices, there unique IP addresses and let router handle all that via DHCP etc.
