February 5, 2025 at 7:22 pm #35554Hi,
Just wondering, is there any WIFI 7 pro routers out/due out that will support vlan’s? Just thinking for any future upgrade would be worth considering but no doubt there be WIFI 8 or 9 by the time WIFI 6 isn’t viable :)

February 6, 2025 at 6:55 am #35555I will drop ASUS a message and inquire as there does not seem to be to much information online regarding ASUSΒ (Wifi 7) routers and LAN based VLAN support.
I did notice that ASUS have the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro which suggests LAN Based VLAN is supported, hopefully ASUS will come back with a better list

February 6, 2025 at 1:02 pm #35558So ASUS have come back and stated that, “All Wi-Fi 7 models support VLAN” on the LAN.
e.g.Β ZenWiFi series as an example in respect to Wifi 7 (BE).
BQΒ meansΒ BEΒ Β Quad-band, such as BQ16.
BT means BE Tri-band, such as BT8.
BD means BE Dual-band, such as BD4
Handy to know
