April 15, 2025 at 6:50 am #37126ASUS have come back and said for the ASUS GT-BE98 firmware will be released in the next couple of weeks
FWiW: I did read also that @GNUton is now working on supporting the ASUS GT-BE98 also.

April 16, 2025 at 10:06 am #37142Thanks for the reply.
On my side everything works, except QoS.
It seems all WiFi7 have broken QoS.
Rumor has it that Asus is in standby, because QoS version 2.0 should be released.
Are you aware of this?
Could you ask about this QoS?

April 16, 2025 at 10:24 am #37143Good to hear your ASUS GT-BE98 is working well, probable best to wait until next firmware release before I ask as this maybe something ASUS have addressed already

April 18, 2025 at 10:29 pm #37216April 19, 2025 at 7:34 am #37217I know from past posts Adaptive QoS with Wifi 7 was having issues, is this the same for Traditional QoS and Bandwidth limiter ?
Are you using AiMesh or just a single ASUS GT-BE98.
I can then speak with ASUS

April 19, 2025 at 7:47 am #37218Thanks for your reply
I am interested in adaptive QoS.
I have not tried the other two options.
In all firmware versions QoS has never worked.
A public reply from Asus would be legitimate.

April 19, 2025 at 7:57 am #37219Are you using AiMesh in anyway or just a single ASUS GT-BE98 ?

Thanks
(I read that the firmware lacks QoS implementation)

April 21, 2025 at 11:37 am #37250ASUS have kindly come back and said/asked is it the Bandwidth Settings of Adaptive QoS which is a limitation on the GT-BE98 ?

April 21, 2025 at 5:52 pm #37251Adaptive QoS is broken. The tc filters and queues are not generated, at least in the code I have access to, which is a few months old now. Without queues and filters, the values you enter on the webui don’t have any effect on traffic (and actually no traffic classification occurs either).

April 21, 2025 at 6:01 pm #37252Great and thank you, I sent ASUS a quick summary early stating that TrendMicro BWDPI (Bi-directional Deep Packet Inspection) and its intelligent QoS (iQoS) might itself be failing to correctly assign classification in my view and this problem has been around for a little while with Wifi 7 devices.
Hopefully something ASUS and TrendMicro can get to grips with, if they are not already
