Hmm, ASUS have come back and say TrendMicro BWDPI and other areas are working as expected.
Alas I do not own a Wifi 7 router so cannot confirm, I have had challenges in the past with QoS until CAKE QoS was introduced via ASUSWRT-Merlin.
CAKE QoS from a gaming perspective was a game changer for me and maybe something worth considering, it is based on fairness and does not offer value with line speeds above 300 Mbps.

April 22, 2025 at 1:57 pm #37262I thought Asus was a serious company, but from this answer it is not.
It is unthinkable to use Cake with 2.5/1 Gigabit internet.
If you have time use Google and you will read that on the official Asus Rog forum there is evidence that the QoS does not work.
Also on the Merlin forum and obviously on the Italian forum of “fibraclick”.

April 22, 2025 at 3:18 pm #37263I can only advise that UI Feedbacks are sent detailing the QoS issues you are experiencing and enable ‘System Diagnostics’. Also mention in the Feedback that this issue has been highlighted by ‘UK Sentinel’ and if they ‘ASUS’ receive sufficient Feedback’s, they may take this more seriously especially if Feedbacks are from multiple different Wifi 7 owners referencing the same QoS challanges.
