August 14, 2023 at 9:06 pm #26419I hope when / if prices of crude starts to drop, they also pass on the reductions as quickly as they are increasing the prices (never happens)

August 14, 2023 at 9:44 pm #26422August 15, 2023 at 10:32 am #26427I’ve always found Costco prices to be quite a bit below the other fuel retailers. The only downside to that, is the ones with the fuel stations are always absolutely rammed. I am roughly equally between two costcos and end up deliberately going to the one without the fuel station just because there’s far far fewer people there. Which is a shame as their fuel is excellent value and quality, i’d prefer to fuel up there

August 15, 2023 at 12:41 pm #26428Costco do seem to sell their fuel at Cost, much like the cooked chickens.
And they have lovely wide parking spaces,

August 15, 2023 at 1:04 pm #26429Don’t forget the 1.50 hotdog and drink which has stayed the same price since day 1. I’m sure they’re making a loss on it, but I always have to get one on the way out to make up for the overspending on stuff I didn’t go in for !

August 15, 2023 at 7:47 pm #26434Costco is membership only, so they have a list of Qualifying Employment Groups or you can register if you own a business etc.

August 16, 2023 at 11:25 am #26445There’s also a raft of other ways you can qualify that they don’t advertise, such as many employers have an agreement and I think being an AA, RAC, national trust, AMEX member and a few others. Best to speak to the local warehouse about options.
