So had to replace the Fiesta ST180 key fob battery as the dash was saying “key Fob battery low” so thought I would create a handy new thread for others in the future to reference.
The Fiesta ST180 remote key fob uses a single CR2032 (3v) type battery.
To gain access to ST180 key fob battery, ‘as shown below’, inset a small flat blade screwdriver into a small slot down one side and gently rotate screwdriver blade which should separate the two key fob half’s on that one side.
Repeat the same exercise for the other side of the key fob and this should allow the two pieces to separate.
Once the two key fob shell sections have been separated, it is just a simple case of removing old CR2032 battery and inserting the new replacement battery.
General picture of ST180 key fob with CR2032 battery and small electrical screwdriver for reference.
