Reading online seems the Pixel 6 Pro has poor connectivity and reception and battery usage is high, but the Pixel 6 shares the same modem as the Galaxy S20/S21 – so maybe antenna design ?

I will wait for the Pixel 7 as the processor should be better with the second revision google tensor cores.
