    New WBE710 / WBE718 Firmware Version 11.6.0.46

    Last Updated:11/19/2024

    New Features:

    • Support for countries Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and Taiwan
    • Support for POE Override that enables you to manually specify power levels that bypass the default POE detection
    • Support for configurable NAS-ID in RADIUS authentication. This addition allows for more flexible and customized network access server identification, improving overall network management and security.
    • Support for traffic prioritization on AP device UI
    • Improved AP TX power allocation using Instant WiFi algorithm
    • Improved client and AP statistics on the AP device UI
    • Improved system stability
    • Improved channel utilization statistics
    • Improved the browser title to reflect the host name
    • Improved the client roaming experience
    • Updated the Force Sticky Client alarm message to indicate the RSSI of the wireless client at the time of disconnection event.
    • Addition of configurable sliders for syslog server severity levels to log messages at intended levels. This feature enhances log management by enabling filtering based on the importance of log data.

    Bug Fixes:

    • Fixes the issue where clients are unable to connect when the DHCP Offer Broadcast to Unicast and multi-link operation (MLO) settings are enabled in the SSID.
    • Fixes the issue where the multicast-to-unicast conversion does not work for a client that is connected to a dynamic VLAN SSID even though IGMP snooping is enabled.

    Known Issue:

    • The AP is not operating on the ACS rank channel for 6GHz.
    • In the Client Statistics page, the Channel Utilization reading goes above 100%.
    • The captive portal is not working for SSIDs with MLO and non-default VLAN.
    • An iPhone cannot connect when the authentication is configured as WPA2/WPA3 personal (mixed authentication), and multi-link operation (MLO) is enabled.
Workaround:Β Change the authentication to WPA3 personal.
    • The ARP proxy feature does not work if you add a rule that denies/drops ARP packets in the MAC IP Traffic Filter.
