Had the pleasure the other day of replacing the rear brake discs and pads on our Renault Kadjar (Automatic) and had an issue finding when the Renault Kadjar is Parked, how do you turn off the Electronic Parking / Hand Brake once the engine is turned off.

Renault Kadjar Turn off Electronic Handbrake/Parking Brake Instructions.

• Sitting in car with engine running and Automatic gearbox set to Park. (automatic parking brake applied)
• Push Start button once to Turn off Engine.
• Wait a few seconds and then Push start button only Once (but don’t start engine).
• Then push and hold the brake pedal with foot, and then.
• Push and hold the Electronic Handbrake switch until the parking brake switch Red light goes out and you hear the Automatic parking brake disengage.

Note; Best to use wheel chocks to stop vehicle moving and never perform this exercise on a slope / hill.
