That is strange because @Bully is exact opposite to yours as his actual Synch speed/rate and Real Synch speed/rate have both increased whilst he has been using a Broadcom, modem,

April 27, 2020 at 9:14 am #6782Yes, I see these and actually broadcom based modem improve on @Bully line where on mine this time cause more bad than good. I usually use broadcom modem to mantain line from interleave to fastpath, as you know. What happens yesterday, no idea, one of these bad memories which I would kike to erase from my memory 😜

April 27, 2020 at 4:37 pm #6785Is the Below WAN setup correct?
See my WAN settings for comparison, only differences is (mine are all default) my Bridge Type is IP_Bridged and you have 802.1p enabled and I do not .
I think your Bridge Type should change if your are having problems but not so sure regarding 802.1p as that is QoS and unsure if you have set this up. ?
Mine seems to work well and no complaints from family as yet

April 27, 2020 at 6:07 pm #6790Only FEC still bit high, rest looks O.K.
However as your DLM card is on different fw than mime you may get fastpath, from this what I realised the one you are on is “more user friendly”.

Just after I took the above stats I matched my settings to yours. It did not loose connection nor did it ask to reboot and I did not do a manually reboot.

April 27, 2020 at 7:17 pm #6792A reboot is probable required at some point, how’s the modem generally, r u happy with increased bandwidth, any lag on gaming, is modem still getting to hot etc ?

Modem is not getting too hot now. I am happy with the increased bandwidth, and is pretty solid. Wish i could access stats through router. Was thinking about connecting lan 2 to router to access stats that way, but had heard it can cause disconnects? Ping is higher than it use to be at about 25ms. Not too much lag during gaming, hard to connect to servers under 50ms on COD MW 2019 on xbox one X due to higher demand cause of lock down.

April 27, 2020 at 9:14 pm #6794It should work perfectly fine on two cables, I have it like that on my old eci modem for months, no issues at all. On other forum people used HG612 on two cables for ages and I didn’t heard that this was caused issues.
@Uk Sentinel
How is yours connected?

April 28, 2020 at 6:40 am #6796@Mrk26. mine just has single ethernet between Modem LAN1 and Router WAN Port, I have not set up second Cable for stats via router and I am only testing currently, and practising KIS (Keep it Simple)
@Bully – Yes extra Bandwidth is very positive and hopefully in fastpath will kick in if errors are low enough ?In a completely sane world, madness is the only freedom (J.G.Ballard).

I don’t believe in such thing, if something working, it should work with full potential, disappointed now, though you will fully unleash the beast 😂😂
