Hello, i want some advice if it’s worth upgrading to Xbox one X, currently i have Xbox one Forza Edition with a 55 inch LED Screen, i am upgrading them both to Xbox one X with a 4k 55 inch Smart TV, purpose is for 4K gaming and enhanced IPTV streaming on the Smart TV.
Any Suggestions ? The LCD cost is 450$ and the Xbox One X (1TB) is for 500$ here.

October 3, 2019 at 8:13 am #4662I have the Xbox 1 X and am loving the experience, I especially like the fact that with the older console the power button was touch sensitive and you could easily turn of console by accident during a game, most annoying, but this has now changed to a more positive button.
Xbox 1 X has great hardware but still uses an Mechanical HD, so boot up times are most annoying, this has no real effect on game play, but time for Xbox to move on in this area.
Gaming via a TV will suffer from input lag, so if you are playing non completive games, then no problem, if you are playing Fifa or Call of Duty etc, then this will be noticeable and a smaller dedicated monitor is a good way to go.
Next year Microsoft console code named ‘Project Scarlett’ is looking good, promising four times the power of the Xbox One X complete with a slew of exciting features like ray tracing, 8K resolution and a lightning-fast SSD.
But alas no release until next Autumn/Winter 2020

Well worth the investment is a 23″ to 28″ screen, I use the BENQ 27″ and love the clarity, but like most hardware, the more you pay, the better, ASUS produce good screens at a reasonable price so hopefully this will help.
I almost forgot, the Xbox 1 controller is the same shape and layout as previous controllers but has a textured underneath which does actually help with grip and the Xbox 1 X supports 4K UHD (50 FPS), so job done ;-)
You just need a decent router to support online gaming

October 3, 2019 at 10:23 pm #4679I too have an Xbox one X Project Scorpio edition and was well worth the upgrade from the XBox one. I got mine on the day of release. I play on a 50” Panasonic 4K HDR TV and I set my HDMI port to “game mode” which reduces the input lag quite considerably. Most TV’s have a similar mode to reduce lag.
I will definitely be upgrading to the 2020 XBox Scarlett.
