Well, Windows is always good for me as I’ve worked with it a long time, though Linux is always a pain it has its occasional uses lol
Already doing this on mine via UEFI settings and custom tuning, plus using Process Lasso and having full control over system resources/turbo etc, but is rather intriguing. This system isn’t exactly slow anyway but that could improve creative and 3D application loading speed at the least. It might be enough to make all my tuning profiles and scripting useless! Though i always tune latency for DPC reasons, might be a good thing.

Shame to see there’s no custom firmware all because they don’t have USB ports.. I did find a firmware tool on github that can modify the firmware image though. Wonder if anyone has any overlays or modifications they can share? I do miss my old Netgear Nighthawk R9000 with OpenTomato. Amazing how slow ASUS is with this router in regards to updates, hasn’t been the most reliable router I’ve had by a long way – just the other day my net stopped working and it needed a reboot. Very rare i had to do that, even back in the day when i was on DSL or even with Virgin Media, though with NTL i always had just a modem and my own NAT/NAS server lol
Plenty of features and speed on this router though and i don’t need WiFi 7 yet, i just wish the Merlin folks would support this model!
