Im on 591 and yeah i don’t use ai protection anymore and frankly the router is more stable. I’d rather have my full speed internet of 330/50 than the tiny bit of protection trend micro offer with slowdowns and problems to boot. To be honest all you need is common sense on the web.
@UK Sentinel It is interesting indeed, What Asus should say in their fancy overview on their product page or even in a FAQ of the support page is “our router is compatible with G.Fast connections, but to fully utilise your line speed you can’t have certain features on that we provide” Same goes for any other stuff they provide. Or they could be blunt and say just buy our router with all these non promised features than may or not work and use default settings.. :D
