@KingfisherUK I experienced similar symptoms with IPv6: Tunnel 6in4. My, two, windows devices did not get disconnected, but their IPv6 connectivity did not work at all. Even worse, my two android devices simply did not get any IP when IPv6 was enabled. They did not get any IP, not even IPv4, disconnected from WiFi again within 10 seconds, and then tried to connect again a couple of seconds later; ad infinitum. I used 6in4 for 4 years with the DSL-N55U and the DSL-AC88U definitely does not work with the same settings. I hope @UK Sentinel can relay this issue to Asus so we can get a firmware fix.
I was going to post about it, but I have been trying to figure out why my DSL-AC88U-B seems to crash and restart after 3 to 15 hours if I have entware (/opt/) mounted. I think I ruled out Samba as the cause yesterday. It seems to crash even if transmission-daemon is the only entware package running. It appeared to run fine for 24+ hours without entware, but I only tried without entware for a day and a half. I can’t really remember all the things I have ruled out though; I need more thorough tests and patience. Does anybody else experience crashes/restarts after a couple of hours with entware? Is there any way I can get the router to put crash logs/dumps on usb storage to examine them and find the cause?
