That brings back old memories, the DSL-AC88U after build503 had a fix in place that stopped the clicking noise by exclude G.fast capability in Auto-Sync mode for DSL modulation.
I am surprised the EWAN port works – but glad it does and the noise is / was the Relay clicking.
Hopefully a firmware upgrade will stop the clicking and no memory issues due to non DSL being in operation ?
