I did wonder.
That is my thoughts also, EU/UK/Australia receive one set of adaptors which includes UK adapter, USA/China receive another set without UK adapter.
Wifi standards are different in US, so don’t bother buying unless you plan to return the box, then we as you say, can have a sneaky look inside 
I had some issues with Facebook plugin including spammers and after chatting in the below post, most forum users preferred to sign in independently, which some other forums do also and so ditched the Facebook login option.
