After 3+ years with Hyperoptic, I have reluctantly decided to move to Community Fibre.
My current Hyperoptc package is £25 per month for 1Gb Fibre Broadband & Phone with unlimited UK landline calls.
This will increase to £31 per month on renewal of the same package. Going down to 500mb will apparently be more expensive as that 1Gb renewal was a special offer for me.
Community Fibre have said they will charge £35 per month for 1Gb Fibre Broadband & Phone with unlimited UK landline and mobile calls. They will offer free broadband for the first 12 months (1Gb Fibre is £25 per month).
Essentially I will pay £14.95 for installation. First year £10 per month, second year £35 per month. Seems a really good deal. Not sure if anyone else has used Community Fibre. My bother and my sister both have the 500mb Community Fibre package which they said is great
Installation is 02/10/2023, lets see how it goes.
Apparently Community Fibre will port over my existing Hyperoptic landline number – not sure how true this is as I have only ever ported between copper telephone lines.
