Chinese and averidge at best, when I purchased our Samsung washing machine a couple of years ago, I looked at Haier and others.
Miele if you can afford them, Bosch, LG and Samsung are good and then there is Ebac, which is British made and owned and also AEG are good.
Cheap and cheerful brands like Candy (Chinese Parent Owner) or Beko (Turkish owner) rate well, but are basic but functional and great on a tight budget.
Only have practical experience of Samsung and Bosch over the last few years and both brands customer services (repairs) where very good.
