If you have not yet performed a hard reset, maybe worth taking a backup of the config, just incase.
When you do perform the reset, keep default settings and see if that stops your XT8 rebooting.
TBH: the XT8 rebooting sometimes can be down to the power adapter failing, this may at least explain why no clues in the logs.
