From what I understand, Apple normally supports a product for 7 years after it is discontinued from manufacturing and the Apple iPhone SE Gen 3 (2022) is still in manufacture.

Hopefully the new iPhone SE Gen 4 will be USB-C as they (Apple) are required to be by the European Union
