I see, so in effect you have applied a QoS type cap of actual download speed, does not the DSL-AC88U have this option via UI (Traditional QoS) ? My DSL-AC68U is not plugged in currently to check ?
Well I was thinking about this but in my previous router RT-AC86U I was able to cap every device individually which may help, this one don’t have this future. However with this method you raise your SNR which actually make line more stable and reduce amount of FEC errors where QOS will not give more stability to the line.
Update:
2 hours and FEC is 10531, so in theory half of this what should be O.K for DLM, could cap bit higher :P
