I to a few months ago went down the Alibaba / Alibaba Express route, all ended in no stock for various G.fast products.

Even tried to encourage ASUS to manufacture a modem only device suitable for G.fast. they where not interested as no market value.

I am staying with VDSL until 5G hits my area and then if prices and flexibility are palatable, purchase an unlimited 5G sim and job done
