The only issue with re-tweaking the modem, is that when BT check your line, it is best to have modem at default incase they decide to check what stats your modem is reporting, highly unlikely, but it has happened with me when I had my Fritz!Box as I had a line branching problem which Fritz!Box identified, BT underground works team then dug up the road and sorted my connection
