The WAN port is for telephony it won’t work for a LAN connection.
Thats not correct, WAN port of RT-AC68U is an Ethernet-port, and DSL-AC68U got an DSL-port (for phone-line) there is no WAN port on it. @Patrik Pabo: So you have to use “alternative” picture you postet. AFAIK you have to set in menu which port shall act as WAN-port on your DSL-AC68U, in your case set it to LAN1 and use the port named LAN1.
