    For some (unknown) reason it’s not there.

     

    I might give a reset a try and see if it asks what to act like at the initiali setup…

    I don’t have my DSL-AC68U nearby so cannot check, probable best to factory reset and see if it Aimesh appears

    AiMesh is there, but I’m given no option to choose (wheter to be router or bridge).

    And yes I will do a factory reset and see. :D

    Maybe worth just trying to add DSL-AC68U as AiMesh (wireless) node now we know AiMesh is available on your DSL-AC68U with stock firmware.
