@Grisu – Thank you for letting me know, I have checked also and found the same problem, I have adjusted the CSS cache and seems to work for me now, when I select refresh.

Let us know if this also now works for yourself

Issue is now that for logged in forum members, page loads maybe even slower, or I can disable the new posts banner which would then speed up forum members forum usage when moving between different pages.

Never an easy choice is there

 

.’. For a test I will disable New Post Banner for a couple of days and see if that makes forum page load quicker and see how Forum members like the page load speed gains vs loss on New Post Banner markings on Forums that have not been viewed.

Does many other forums you use have simular, I know in the past you said one forum notifies you by the text being thicker / darker, does this type of notification happen on many forums your use, or just the good ones ?

On one I see the number of new answers of each thread sorted like here last activity.
In others they are usually highlitghted/bold and you have a notification field where you can see unseen postings.
They use a bell sign for it named notifications or alerts.

There is something like this an all other forums I am using.

I have not used SNB Forums for many years but do belong to Forums Netduma and they only sort new post to manually look at, like UKTechHub currently works.

Thank you for your feedback, and will see if anybody else comments before We/I decide what is most valuable (Forum Speed or New Posts banner) etc.

So I have re-enabled the ‘NEW’ posts notification and the speed issue I will try to resolve another way for logged in users

Thread number has been that colour for a while now, but have changed it to a darker colour

Date font colour conversation already discussed in below thread, I have tried a new colour and see what you think ?
