@Bully performed original quiet line test via Master Socket (faceplate socket) I believe. Yes, I believe also faceplates can fail if line (outside) is hit with lightening etc.
I did the quiet line test at the test socket, the faceplate and from the extension in the living room.

April 30, 2020 at 5:20 pm #6839Do you keep your pc running to monitor your line? Last day you have 230k FEC errors, last 2h 75k that is a big burst in last two hours!! I guess you were in home at this time. Was something specific turned on?

April 30, 2020 at 6:11 pm #6842No worries, normal usage is out of control and obviously not much we can do about in these days. It’s just that burst of errors last 2h from the time you posted stats it’s a bit suspicious. That’s why I asked did you noticed if something specific was turned on in home, could be also time of the day where congestion on broadband network increases causing bunch of errors. This amount of errors which appear on your line now are much better than before (with vigor on the line), but I’m not sure if is good enough.

May 1, 2020 at 5:04 pm #6853I forgot to say yesterday, you are probable on BT’s 50/10 service as this ties in with your synch speed, what you get at modem is what we are working On
