I suppose the big question is whether the HG612 is staying in place for the foreseeable future or are you going to plug back in the DrayTek 130 ?

May 2, 2020 at 1:05 pm #6898You can try to give modem last IP in the pool, or assign static but in the same IP range as router.

May 2, 2020 at 1:19 pm #6901Not sure, maybe stick with the HG612, or ditch both and research buying something else that is stable and i can access without too much faffing like the draytek.

May 2, 2020 at 1:29 pm #6902Bigger Picture:
The HG612 does seem to be working for you, alas it only has a dual core 400 GHz processor, so a little low, I got bored of my HG612 a yesterday and plugged in my DSL-AC88U which has dual core 1Ghz processor (Broadcom) and seems good for NAT etc. alas this modem is discontinued, but the DSL Processor it contain (BCM 63138) work very well for me.

For yourself, I think until fibre hits your area, you are a little stuck with what you got
