The spare one which I got for DLM bad days is recommended zyxel VMG1312-B10A.

Forgot to add that this zyxel is with pre-build vdsl filter which can improve connection on long/noisy lines. Also you can view stats via gui or telnet. Used on ebay shouldn’t be to expensive.

Or try your old BT HG612 3B Modem as that is also Broadcom DSL chipset as we discussed at beginning of thread – needs re flashing to unlock stats, but easy process

Ok.

I had already unlocked the HG612 some time ago with B030SP08 gui version.  Just plugged it into my laptop and set it up in bridged mode and set the ip address to the same as my Draytek, so all i have to do is swap it over (when i am not going to disrupt anyone using the internet) so not sure when that will be.
