May 27, 2024 at 7:37 pm #32354According to the site:-
”
The value of your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card1ย depends on what your friend buys. And the best part? You can refer as many friends as you like through our refer a friend scheme โ and get rewarded for each one.
- Get a ยฃ75 gift card each when they switch their gas and electricity
- Get a ยฃ35 gift card each when they switch just one”
As i’m switching both, would imply we get ยฃ75 each.

May 27, 2024 at 7:42 pm #32356Does seem to imply ยฃ75 for a dual fuel referral, which is good for your wallet

June 2, 2024 at 2:54 pm #32402So update – Friend been unable to locate his referral link so been looking still and it seems Outfox the market has a cheaper tariff out so will likely go with them is my current thinking.
Only issue is, during quote it asks if i have smart meters, standard etc – I have one of each.ย IF I select Smart, they will attempt to read the meter(s) and if no joy will be effectively dump meters but I also don’t want it to delay the switch.ย So I could go Standard but then they may not even attempt to read my Elec smart meter.ย No one appears on chat so I can’t ask atm…
Anyone here familiar with switching to them?ย Do i need to let existing provider know I’m switching or will Outfox the market handle it all?
Last switch I did was via uswitch and it was all handled but uswitch allow to switch to this tariff so need to go directly through outfox the market.
Thanks

June 3, 2024 at 10:10 am #32406I saw MSE was advising they were 7% cheaper https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/are-there-any-cheap-fixed-energy-deals-currently-worth-it/ and i see others signed up to earlier tarrif with them and had no issues so took the plunge.

June 3, 2024 at 1:22 pm #32407Already got online access, got account number and switch is happening in couple of days time…. pretty quick, I’m sure previously it took a week or 2.ย Just now waiting to see if it all goes through ok.
Interestingly, there app says within 21 days but there website says couple of days and has a count down lol
Just got to try get a reading for both, i’ve managed to change the DD date so that hopefully will be ok, can’t change for 1st bill but can for subsequent ones so fingers crossed that all goes through ok, its showing up online with the new date already so all looks promising so far.ย Just hoping there Bills are easy to follow, only ones I’ve come across so far that i wasn’t keen on was EDFs, found those difficult to understand and ended up questioning them several times n my small time period with them.

June 3, 2024 at 3:14 pm #32409So far been straight forward, got a email to create account, did that, it already shows my meters and count down to the switch, shows billing info etc so seems pretty automated process so far.
Logging into existing supplier, it already shows I’m leaving so they are already aware, now just to wait and see what refund I get from existing supplier as they have just taken there DD payment.
