Why do you think that, Fritz!Boxs are usually good, so hopefully ZEN got it working well for you with the 7530 and its Dakota DSL chipset for your ECI connected line ?
Fritzbox 7530:Â Down 60.5Mbs / Up 17Mbs
VMG1312-B10A:Â Down 64Mbs / Up 19Mbs

Yes, advanced view is enabled. As for the rooter chipset, it seems my ECI line is better off with a Broadcom chipset…

Meanwhile I did swap it with my Zyxel VMG1312-B10A and I also gained 3.5Mbs in downstream and 2 Mbs in upstream, go figure…
I’ve just checked with the fritzbox being not connected to the Internet and unfortunately the option is not there anymore, well, it’s not visible anymore…
It was in Diagnostics –> Security under the entry FRITZ!Box Services
So, if the router is off-line the TR-069 option is hidden, so weird… and yes the edit button was greyed-out, so impossible to change the settings…
P.S.
The ISP is Zen.

Thanks all… After a thorough (Internet) search, my understanding is that PPPoE passthrough is NOT bridge mode, so I will go with something else… perhaps a ZyXEL XMG3927 or Draytek Vigor 166, although for the latter there is no news on when it will be available…

ECI cabinet, unfortunately… Sky is now offering in my area Ultrafast Internet up to 145Mb/s and I believe I read is on G.fast, otherwise is it 35b ?

Thanks and yes I’m with Sky and I use an R7000 with FreshTomato which handles DHCP 61… Just thinking to upgrade my ZyXEL modem and I was looking at some new G.fast ready modem…
