ASUS DSL-AC88U supports G.fast, but that model is no longer supported.
If you can return the DSL-AX82U – I would purchase the Vigor 166 modem (BT Approved) and then purchase say the ASUS RT Ax86u router or simular that will support AiMesh and all the AiMesh nodes etc. and G.fast is supported by the Vigor 166
Alas there is no wifi 6 modem / router (all in one device)Â that also supports G.fast DSL currently I believe.
Wifi 5 (AC) is still very respectable
