Using QiS I have tried to select my area as UK and my ISP as plusnet. I enter username and pasword – it does not work. I have to set ISP as “not listed” then enter Connection Type, VLAND, Username and password manually to get the connection. Cameras are indeed on static IP addresses IPv6 is disabled. I have tried turning off the firewall and still no camera viewing from outside my network. It works fine within.

Maybe drop ASUS a a Feedback form and tell them that your set-up is not working, mention at the beginning you have chatted with UK Sentinel, and hopefully they will respond.

Offline: I have sent ASUS a couple of Emails this week regarding IPV6 /56/64 issues etc. and have not had any feedback, so unsure what they are up to at the moment ?

Likewise, sometimes, life is just to short and maybe better to cut your loses and ditch the DSL-AC88U and purchase something like RT-AC86U (with suitable modem) and flash with RMerlin firmware etc ;-)
