Alas no, as far as I am aware, in UK you read reports of some users having many thousands FEC and no issues with line as FEC are usually corrected at router end.
For CRC’s, if I have more than say 4 a day, that is a worry, but others also have 1000’s and synch rate etc. still seems to work well, even the SNR can remain low.
Older lines tend to be more troublesome as well as the Aluminum ones CCA or CCE (for Copper Clad Ethernet), has higher attenuation than pure copper cables. This results in a greater loss of data as packets have to be re-transmitted etc.
