Fifa 20 Speed up Lag

For those that wish to understand exactly what Fifa Speed Up Lag issue is, you are in the right place, Speed up lag is a packet loss issue, it’s caused by the game attempting to send data to us or your opponent and not being able to get through. You can sometimes fix this by DMZing (not advisable) the console in your router or by playing on an ethernet cable instead of WiFi.

But since the last update back in July 2019, the issues seem to be more with EA Servers, Packet shapers/Load Balancers (Network) and how EA manage (Technically – Routing of Traffic) and the Lag compensation mechanism.

Speed Up Lag Symptoms:

Everytime you play a match online  in FUT division rivals your players slow down for a few seconds then speed up. You also have no control over players when this happens also it doesn’t seem to affect  opponent. This is really frustrating as you could have lost matches because of this and it has forced some users to stop playing the game!

Fifa 20 is reportable more effected by this than previous Fifa versions
