Well, I will check it over the phone by just connecting the modem as you want :) But the problem is that CRCs occur at certain times. It’s pretty normal in the morning. The hours when it increases are the hours I mentioned. On the Zyxel B10B 3312 modem, the yo-yo effect in these games becomes evident in the evening hours.
I understand only at certain times, remove PC and Monitor etc. and only leave ASUS Modem/Router plugged in and see if that helps over 24 hours ?
Also as @Grisu said, maybe check with neighbour to see if they have same issues at the same timeÂ

Also maybe worth looking at buying the new ASUS DSL-AX82U (modem/router) or maybe the Fritz!box 7530 AX or the newer FRITZ!Box 7590 AX if you can purchase these in your region as these will work better with CRC etc .

June 19, 2021 at 11:53 am #13981Yes, I begged Asus to take it back, but they didn’t want it :) I was unemployed due to the pandemic, so I had to manage with what I had.

June 19, 2021 at 4:43 pm #13987Line grafics look unspectacularly, quite like it should.
And problems may be caused by poor backbone of the provider too as long as CRC are not extreme.

June 21, 2021 at 4:59 pm #14008When CRC starts to increase. I just couldn’t get the modem to work because I didn’t have internet.

Yes, After trying for 2 hours, I saw that nothing had changed, so I turned my computer back on.

June 21, 2021 at 8:09 pm #14015So increase in CRC still happened when PC was turned Off ?
If so then you are unlucky and have as @grisu said, a noisy DSL backbone and only a Broadcom modem will help to reduce CRC’s if CRC’s are causing you a problem etc ?

Yes it helps. But the Zyxel modem I used is causing a problem because it is a restricted version. I will have to use these modems for now :)

June 22, 2021 at 5:57 am #14017I understand, maybe in the future consider Ebay for a used TP-Link VR2800 or simular as that is broadcom DSL chipset.
Bitswap on the MediaTek DSL used to cause high CRC’s so lots of owners Disabled Bitswap, yours is disabled so maybe worth a try enabling Bitswap incase ASUS/MediaTeK have fixed the Bitswap problem.
If that does not help improve CRC – alas not much more we can do
