Well, no email with Welcome pack yet but tariff has changed in my online portal so I guess it is going through :)

May 27, 2025 at 9:31 pm #37888Congrats, will be interesting if in July–September 2025 when/if prices drop you are allowed to transfer free and they honour that conversation you had with them

June 8, 2025 at 9:17 am #37969Update – Tariff changed online but didn’t get the welcome pack/email – chased them the other day and they apologies and re-sent it so have it now.
Would you believe it… they have only gone and come out with a June tariff now (2yr tariff) which is slightly cheaper but only on Elec. Elec unit price is only number that has dropped, the gas has remained identical and therefore they estimate a ÂŁ4 saving per year. Shame as I was hoping the standing charge on the gas would drop a bit.

June 8, 2025 at 12:12 pm #37971Always the way, will be interesting if they offer further reductions over the next couple of months, especially if any Gas discounts.

June 12, 2025 at 7:39 pm #37992FYI – Just got a email, it seems Outfox the market is changing names to Outfox energy and has a new website and logo going like 16th June.

July 1, 2025 at 6:27 am #38149New Ofgem energy price cap, which takes effect on July 1, 2025, will be ÂŁ1,720 per year for a typical household paying by Direct Debit, marking a 7% decrease from the current cap of ÂŁ1,849.
How does this compare with your current tariff and is it time to change again

August 23, 2025 at 1:05 pm #39317Hi all,
Just was just checking my recent bill and noticed a cheaper tariff is available.
Current prices
Elec
Unit price: 21.94
Standing charge: 48.64
Gas
Unit price: 5.34
Standing charge: 31.42
Exit fees: ÂŁ100 per fuel
New tariff:-
Elec
Unit price: 21.43
Standing charge: 45.94
Gas
Unit price: 5.17
Standing charge: 29.59
Exit Fees ÂŁ125 per fuel
So went and changed and it seems now that the free to switch fixed tariffs with current supplier for free is no longer from 1st sept, they will charge the fee to switch to a fixed tariff with them or move elsewhere.
Bit of a shame tbh, was nice to be able to switch for to a cheaper tariff with the same provider, i understand paying for switching to a different supplier. This tariff isn’t change isn’t a massive saving but every little helps. This will be my last change until the 2 year is up as unless there is a massive change in the markets, i cannot see me getting my Gas & Elec for ÂŁ250 cheaper elsewhere :)

This looks like outfox energy. They were cheaper than my Fuse Energy tariff, but with refer a friend Fuse Energy was cheaper for me.

Such a shame that good intention has been exploited.

August 23, 2025 at 8:12 pm #39323thanks, yes I agree. However, when I last enquired I was told by the person on chat that “you can switch as many times as you like to another fixed tariff with us” so would seem also the sales/chat people did encourage switching, probably to help the customer save money.
Good to read they are allowing after 50%, I didn’t realise that and don’t recall reading it in the info I got on chat, just that they were stopping it from 1st sept.
In the past I’ve not bothered as it would of meant saving ÂŁ5 over the year so wasn’t worth it, this time I’m not saving a fortune but works out to around ÂŁ30 a year in saving so over the 2 year fixed is ÂŁ60 so felt was worth doing, especially as this will be my last change now, when I change next will depend on the prices.
