You can check in connection status on laptop what is your gateway IP adress, that should be router ip.

Yeah, well not sure because i setup second cable option straight after i updated router firmware.
Second cable option was probable the cause, go back to what works, for now

Not sure, maybe stick with the HG612, or ditch both and research buying something else that is stable and i can access without too much faffing like the draytek.

How about is set modem’s ip to be outside DHCP range .255?

Can i set modem to 192.168.0.anynumber, should it be within the .254 range?
