So I have had initial feedback from ASUS and seems/thinks this maybe an oversight on behalf of ASUS web team.
The contact I used at ASUS (router team) said they would look into this and hopefully get this fixed. Alas ASUS is such a big company and if one area, say PC’s , do not want dates showing, that policy may have been applied across there whole web presence, but hopefully this can be reversed.
I will of course keep chasing ASUS regarding release date no longer alongside the version release
