Welcome back from retirement yes a great little modem / router combo the DSl-AX82U is and seems a compact unit.

Glad ASUS have given you one to test also on your ADSL line also.

@Babis3g and I are/where tester for ASUS so we sometimes have access to new kit before they are released to the public  (in the name of science)

Officially, the DSL-AX82U is not yet available for purchase, but there are a few fake websites advertising the DSL-AX82U for sale currently.

i got it from Asus (was testing years ago, but now with this one, i came back) … is not bad for new modem & just new firmware, is got aimesh, aiprotection, traffic analyzer,  adaptive qos, game vpn, game open nat etc … i got some spots but not sure if they are bugs, so will not mentioned for now because i may be wrong, thanks, will see soon

Speaking for myself, All I can say is DSL (VDSL2) is stable, LAN to LAN speed testing with AiProtection fully enabled  achieves near gig speeds (unlike DSL-AC88U) and I did not experience any Memory leaks with tested firmware.

As you can imagine, we/I test with Beta’s and as such should respect product confidentiality during testing

My main interest is to get WPA3, then AX is my 2nd interest. Are you testing WPA3 or AX if you have clients?
