That Firmware version was only released three days ago, I read on SNB that another owner had also thought QoS was broken with .7756 if the QOS is an issue, you may have to revert back to Version 3.0.0.4.384.6436
Have you tried a factory reset and build from scratch, (not backup) just to make sure ?
I am surprised you are not using ASUSWRT-Merlin firmware ?

November 28, 2019 at 1:30 pm #5144thanks for reply UK Sentinel ….
QOS is not a big issue
yes i have done factory reset ….
though i have found one more issue ….. by default 160MhHz is checked ….. this cause download speed drop issue on Intel 9560 Wi-Fi card.
i think these issue will be also preset in Merlin built when he will merge GPL ?

November 28, 2019 at 1:42 pm #5145Some of those Intel wifi chipsets are troublesome, mine on my Dell Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 was a royal pain with 160MHz Speeds when I was testing earlier this year.
Hopefully others will notice QoS issue with latest RT-AX88U firmware and find solution/fix from ASUS
Edit: Is your RT-AX88U hardware Revision is A1 or hardware Revision is A1.1. not sure if it would make any real difference but worth noting country of Assembly for future reference ?
A1 was assembled in China
A1.1 was assembled in Vietnam

November 28, 2019 at 9:46 pm #5149hmm 726 line up does have issue :D …. but i think they fixed it … on windows 10 best driver are seems to be that u get from windows updates.
my hardware revision is A1 ( assembled in China )
i did some testing from other laptops too , it turn out 160MHz was not a issue …but speedtest.net server was having an issue or overloaded .
Thank’s Grisu

December 19, 2019 at 2:05 pm #5480Will try this one once i back from work, fancy to see if wifi will be faster than on Merlin for mobile phones, no issues with pc, but on moblie devices strangely slow? 🤔

December 19, 2019 at 4:06 pm #5482i have already tested this new firmware …. now only Upstream QOS is broken , people also reported some other issue with it on Iphones and WAN issue where it shows disconnected ( for first few minutes when u reset or restart the router )
Through WAN issue can be fixed -> login to your router -> click on WAN -> scroll down and select no to Enable VPN + DHCP Connection ) –> apply and reboot
currently ASUS Stock 3.0.0.4.384.6436 and Merlin 384.14 is most stable ( does have WAN issue during reset … so be patient when u reset router )
what are your wifi settings for 5ghz and 2.4ghz on professional tab ? @Mrk26

hmm there is no need to disable Multi User MIMO , 802.11 AC Beamforming ,Explicit Beamforming and Universal Beamforming ….. by default on Merlin Firmware they are Enabled and works fine on RT-AX88U ….
Merlin do advice to disable Airtime Fairness and Universal Beamforming and leave everything else to default unless you have special needs for your connected devices
but by disabling Universal Beamforming i have noticed i do get max link speed on devices … but on some devices link speed get locked to it for a period of time ……………. ( for example .. one of the device ( 5GHz 2×2 MIMO ) kept far from the router and got connected at link rate of 270Mbps , now moving it next to the router … link speed was unchanged and was stuck at 270Mbps for some unknown reasons until i disconnect and reconnect that device ) … enabling it resolve this issue and link rate was dynamically adjusted without needing of disconnecting and reconnecting ………………….
