Very kind of you. if you can email me the link (we have chatted offline previously) then I can make this a downloadable link for forum members only.
This new firmware from what I can tell, is no better than release 42095 from a stability perspective, but if forum members wish to test/try, then happy to share I am

September 16, 2021 at 3:22 pm #15313After returning the units and purchasing replacements from Very.co.uk, it looks like these units are now also working without any issues on 43181 (the problem firmware on Microsoft Teams). Not sure if the beta firmware actually updated something permanently in the units!!!!
Also with Very voucher codes that Very sent to me, managed to get all 4 units for £493 rather than £640

September 16, 2021 at 4:17 pm #15321@Dodgydrains : so, what you are saying is :
- first install the beta firmware
- then re-install official 43181 firmware over beta firmware
and this should resolve the disconnect issue? Correct?

September 16, 2021 at 4:27 pm #15324I am saying not really sure what ‘fixed’ it for me on 43181. But the steps you mentioned above is what I did. It has worked for me all this week. The mysteries of tech. Asus must know what the issue is, or it could be recent fix on Microsoft Teams side?

September 16, 2021 at 4:28 pm #15325@UKSentinel, yes I always factory reset when changing firmware. Once via UI and manually using a pin

September 30, 2021 at 8:23 pm #15606Changelog does hint at a stability fix, so sounds promising

- Improve system stability and fix GUI issue
Just checked and download did not work for me either, hopefully just a case of Firmware needing time to be replicated to all there download servers,

September 30, 2021 at 8:30 pm #15607Looks like the ASUS server may be down as clicking ‘check update’ in the UI is not working. The dots keep going round and round in circles.

September 30, 2021 at 8:45 pm #15609Yes, I will upgrade over the weekend and test before working from home next week. Tomorrow there is urgent month end and do not need the hassle of testing and losing connection.

I’ve got the routers rebooting at 0400 every day just in case of issues, so may stop that to give myself a chance to see if it can be stable for many days. Otherwise I may never tell! You need to login in order to vote
