Hi

I have noticed a few times this error in the logs and wondered if anyone knew what it was? Im on the latest firmware and it happens once a day at different times

This relates I think to a probem reading the TrendMicro signature file, Check on the Firmware Upgrade page to see if you can update the Signature version.

Alas, not sure what version it should be, but worth a try ?

Trend is very integral with ASUS routers and effects the following key services I think…

•  AiProtection
• Traffic Analyzer
• Apps analyzer
• Adaptive QoS / Game Boost and
• Web history

@dodgydrains – So ASUS have come back and said that the repeated log messages you are noticing is due to Trend Micro configuration missed to filter out some error messages.

ASUS did receive your feedback form and this issue should be fixed in future releases, but ASUS did say this should not cause router to fail after a few days 

Only way to stop the error messages (as you know) is to disable AiProtection ?

Router rebooted randomly again.  I have sent feedback with new logs.  Hopefully ASUS can find the problem.  I will turn off ‘Web and App Filters’ again.

I have been testing 386.07 with ‘Web and App Filters’ turned on for the past 3 days.  Still getting the error messages but not lost connection at all.

@Dodgydrains – Posts get stuck for  moderation if there are lots of http:/ type of links, do not worry as happy to release, just last night watched the England football match and then cried myself to sleep

Great news that @GNUtons build is proving stable – alas log messages will only be corrected by ASUS/TREND when they update the code etc.

WHat do you think of the @GNUton build, are you using the extra features ?
