So, Tuesdays engineer was a no show, so they sent another one today, unfortunately they sent one to the house and he said he is an internal engineer not one that visits the street cabinets. They promised an engineer that could inspect the street cabinet. Β Any way the engineer they sent checked various things, factory reset hub, checked line speeds and confirmed no faults at property. Β He also fitted the latest master socket which he said was not needed but did it anyway. Β He also said it seems like BT have capped my speeds. Β He has escalated our fault and called it in to BT and arranged an engineer that can inspect street cabinet, who will be coming Monday. Β The saga continues.

I too have an Xbox one X Project Scorpio edition and was well worth the upgrade from the XBox one. Β I got mine on the day of release. Β I play on a 50β Panasonic 4K HDR TV and I set my HDMI port to βgame modeβ which reduces the input lag quite considerably. Β Most TVβs have a similar mode to reduce lag.
I will definitely be upgrading to the 2020 XBox Scarlett.

BT done the testing and canβt find a fault, so are sending an engineer out Tuesday. Β They say they have reset my line and removed DLM, I asked about the interleaving depth on my line and they said this can not be changed or removed as interleaving is applied if a lot of people are using the internet on my fibre street cabinet, when demand increases interleaving is applied and when demand reduces so does the interleaving. Β My line speeds have not changed since the line rest and DLM removal.

I have not got access to certain peoples devices in the household so cant manually add it on those devices.Β I want everyone in the house to have static IP’s.
I have found the HG612, but not tried it yet as i wanted to see how the smart hub 2 performed, and BT are calling back once the smart hub 2 is set up to see if the line has improved.
Tried setting the static IP’s in a different browers but still no joy.Β Edge and chrome.

Well my BT smart hub 2 turned up today, well what a load of rubbish, cant configure static ip addresses (the option to do it is there but it does not save them), can’t assign a separate SSID name for the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz.

Not COD, there are around 100 games, some are good.Β you also get extra discounts when buying games and add-ons.
There is a way of sharing xbox games across consoles, a google search will point you in the right direction.

I forget, did you have the DSl-AC88U at one stage as that was Broadcom chipset ?
Nope, only the 66U and now the 86U.

I suppose being a broadcom based chip it will not like my ECI street cabinet?

Me again.
I have contacted BT via live chat about my line errors and interleaving.Β They tested my line and said the line is ok.Β They believe the issue is with my HH6 (which is not even plugged in).Β They are sending me a new HH free of charge (the latest one).Β I requested a DLM/line reset and they said they did it whilst i was on live chat, my line speed has not changed, nor has my interleave depth.
I have now plugged in the HH6 until i get the new hub, the line speed is the same as the draytek 130, although it is showing a higher max data rate –
current connection Data rate:9.30 Mbps / 32.40 Mbps
Maximum data rate:9291 / 50824I do not believe they reset my line and DLM.Β I will see how it goes with the HH6 and then the new one when it arrives tomorrow.
Is there away of using the HH just as a modem and connecting my Asus 86U for the routing and wifi ?

Yes I did have a look.
CRC Errors – Cyclic Redundancy Check
Count of CRC errors. CRC is an error detection code used to verify packet transmission between the sender and receiving end. A CRC error indicates that part of the data packet is corrupt and requires retransmission. – see Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) for a more in depth explanation.
Many CRC errors in a short period of time will show a noticeable reduction in throughput speed. This can be an early indication that there is too much noise on the line and in extreme situations can lead to loss of sync (disconnection with the exchange).
