    @trainzer – ASUS have asked if you will be kind enough to submit another feedback form on Sunday, so they can ascertain a baseline of operation .

    Let me know when you have completed this task on Sunday so i can chase with ASUS

    (hopefully you have not rebooted router yet)

    386.02_4-gnuton1  – cake does not work, easily proven by dslreports buffer bloat test showing results into the hundreds of ms. Gnuton does know, it’s raised on github here. Lots of nice additions though, and holding over 200mb free ram so far.

    While testing this I also found that if you had Traditional QoS rules set up  and then either turn QoS off or swap to another type then when you return to Traditional even though your previous rules may show you’ll find tc qdisc via ssh will not show fc_codel until you go to the rule page and hit apply again. I would not be surprised if this was the same with the stock firmware, but I’m not flashing back just to check.

    @trainzer

    ASUS DSL Team have received and have had a look at your two feedback forms, and have requested the following. could you verify what your current RAM usage is ?

    —————

    Check the new feedback log. No abnormal behaviour found.

    Please inform the user to submit feedback if system crash or have any abnormal behaviour.

    Indeed! I have seen it oscillating between 88% and 92%. It is currently sitting at 91% check attached image and you can see RAM oscillating.

    Notice some slowness on the clients sometimes, also, searching for updates from the GUI is not working anymore. – says it can’t communicate with ASUS servers.

    Don’t want to restart the router now as I am waiting for my line speed to increase and modulation to change to FastPath.
