July 19, 2021 at 9:00 pm #14395I am sure that will not be the case as I usually get the inside track on most situations regarding ASUS router products etc. no hints have been dropped.
I will try again on Wednesday

July 22, 2021 at 5:33 am #14417So had feedback from ASUS and no updated firmware (beta’s) are currently available, in essence they are still working on the issues with the Zenwifi AX module.

Just been contacted by ASUS support who provided a new firmware to try out. Hopefully they have found the route cause of the problem with the newer firmware and my Microsoft Teams issue.

July 31, 2021 at 12:32 am #14515Unfortunately I had several urgent deadlines so not been able to work from home. I will be working from home next Tuesday and can update on progress. The beta firmware is installed and all seems fine, just need to test with Microsoft Teams which was the main issue for me.

August 3, 2021 at 7:44 am #14550Microsoft Teams was a lot better with the beta firmware. Tested yesterday and had issue during one Teams call. A lot better than the latest ‘bad’ firmwares after 42095.

August 3, 2021 at 8:13 am #14551Great news, we will have to see if we can ask ASUS to release this firmware as a beta, just to help others with a quick fix until the next stock release is tested and available

Edit: was the firmware you tested – RT-AX95Q_9.0.3.4_386_43184-ge5e8d6c_nodpi_cferom_puresqubi.w

August 3, 2021 at 5:09 pm #14556Yes that is the firmware.
Still not as good as 42095. I never experienced any Teams issues on 42095 at all.
Test firmware 43184 lost Teams connection once yesterday, and today there were calls that froze mid way. More work to be done to bring it back to the level of reliability as 42095.

August 3, 2021 at 5:35 pm #14557I managed to get a copy from ASUS today, but from the sounds of it, not worth creating a download link as 42095 is a better option
