Has free RAM at 86MB been consistent ?

Has been reducing each day by 10 MB.  I’ll check tomorrow morning.

Free RAM went down to 76 MB and has recovered to 95 MB now.  I did not do anything for that to happen.  Last time it freed up RAM on previous FW it locked up after a few hours.  Hopefully it doesn’t happen this time

That is the key for this new firmware test I feel, keep us updated – I can then feedback to ASUS as I hope you will also via the UI feedback page etc.

So far, this offline beta FW seems to be working fine and is stable.  After 7 days uptime no lockups and RAM is being freed and without going below 70MB.  Currently sitting at 95MB.

I did let ASUS know that the offline XT8 beta seemed to be stable, but no idea regarding this new beta, seems slightly newer release (numerically) , so could be interesting ?

I have updated to the new official beta via the UI by ticking ‘I would like to retrieve beta firmware’.   All nodes updated and re-established mesh connection without any issues.

Another sucker for punishment, I installed this just now and it’s showing 162MB of free RAM – so about twice as much as before.

    Mesh node is connected too!

Glass half full type of ASUS owner – it is fun testing this sort of kit and very useful for others

I also updated to the newly released beta 21101 fw,

Looks like the most of the TrendMicro isn’t fully functional, so that might also account for my huge jump in free ram 80ish free > up-to 191% free.

The gui is definitely seems more responsive now👍

but as my node is connected via ethernet, the 5GHz backhaul tweaks are wasted on me.

No improvements on my underlying web history bug tho 🙈 no web history whatsoever 🤭

    Tom…
