November 1, 2019 at 10:34 pm #4938I updated my HG612 the other day after talking with you and manged it, if accessing HG612, you have to change IP address of Connection PC/Laptop to say 192.168.1.9 and plug ethernet cable into LAN port 2 to gain access
Access to UI is via http://192.168.1.1

I believe you may have to flash the firmware several times in order to get it to stick, which firmware did you use in the end ?
When flashing new firmware, connect laptop to Lan 1 port

November 2, 2019 at 8:42 pm #4944Oh well, worth a try it was, U can still can use HG612 as is, but you will not have access to stats etc.
The Firmware upgrade provided the ability to use G.inp and ability to access stats. as your DSLAM/Cab is ECI, they have not enabled G.inp on them yet, so no real loss
