Try Version 1.1.2.3_790 for DSL-AC750 ?
and factory reset after loading firmware and configure from scratch – if this is still problem we can chat about your router settings etc. Just make sure you use ASUS QiS ‘Wizard’ to set-up router after factory reset.

I use this router with a FFTH line, and is rock solid, much better that the ZTE AC1200 that ISP installed.

No connection issues here (VDSL) on a AC51 (which is a rebranded AC750 ?) on beta firmware 9.1.2.3_rev708fa_0. I am on a capped line though.

ASUS have informed me of possible ADSL synch issue with firmware release v9.1.2.3_828

For MT751x based models, recent beta firmware release v9.1.2.3_828, there is possible ADSL sync issue. It’s just been identified today.
However, no issue if connect to VDSL2. So for customers using ADSL and raised concern, please help to inform ccustomers to revert back to earlier official v1.1.2.3_805, which is available on support site.
In the meantime, we are working on updated version, will be available early next week

I assume you have rebooted the DSL-AC51 ? Is there any indication as to problem in the DSL Log or General Log etc.?

No issues here with DSL-AC51 on VDSL/G.INP 17a profile Broadcom DSLAM, no VPN enabled.
