Alas a while ago, ASUS unofficially supported the DSL-N66U even beyond its EOL (end of life) status, alas somebody complained (long story) and ASUS decided to stop supporting this unit and a few others.
The main reason why the DSL-N66U reached it EOL (my opinion)ย is its DSL processor is RALINK, where most of the other DSL chipsets are MediaTek (I believe)

April 18, 2020 at 5:55 pm #6509With 854 installed, I see a more stable 5Ghz connection.
My AC68U used to download at 87 Mbit/s on iPhone 7, now I’m on an AC750 and my maximum download speed is only 60 Mbit/s on iPhone 11 Pro. I miss my AC68U, it stopped working after 3 years usage and Asus did not repair it.

Good news about 5Ghz stability, lots of cheap AC68u on Ebay

I have the router ASUS DSL-N66U. Can you post a screenshot of the IPv6 menu after the firmware to version DSL-N66U_v9.1.2.3_790-g61d41b5?
Thank you in advance and I look forward to your prompt reply!
Best regards,

April 23, 2020 at 1:10 am #6640Free memory DSL-AC51 is dropping to 4 MB within 6 days , and then it usually reboots. But this time it managed to save itself by freeing up memory to 8 MB. See log.
Note: Free memory dropping to 4 MB within 6 days is due to my particular settings. Other users will likely not experience this. Will reboot it manually and see what happens the next 6 days.

Think this time was just lucky that it freed-up RAM by itself. Will report the setting bug once I am sure about it.
Not a big deal, just for reporting to the Asus FW team. You need to login in order to vote
